Pamela Lee has been a cornerstone of Tropical Winds Production since its founding on March 14, 2004—the very beginning of what has grown into a respected multi-station online broadcasting operation. As Co-Owner and News & Weather Director, Pamela brings consistency, credibility, and a deep commitment to excellence that has helped define the organization’s reputation for trusted coverage.
Specializing in Broadcast Meteorology, Pamela focuses on high-impact weather events, including tropical systems, hurricanes, severe weather, and advanced radar analysis. Her expertise is backed by her AMS certification, reflecting a high standard of professional meteorological knowledge and accuracy. She also holds a Master’s Degree from Marshall University, further strengthening her academic and technical foundation.
Beyond weather, Pamela has built a strong presence in space mission reporting, covering launches and developments from the Kennedy Space Center since the STS-119 Space Shuttle mission in March 2009. Her continued presence and reporting have made her a familiar and respected figure within the NASA community.
Outside the newsroom, Pamela enjoys a well-rounded life. She spends time with her two dogs—Chrissy, a Basset Hound, and Embers, a Shepherd—and has a passion for travel, reading, and acting. When she’s not delivering critical weather updates or breaking news, she can often be found at Kennedy Space Center, continuing her coverage of space exploration.

Tim Granger is the founder, owner, and driving force behind Tropical Winds Production, the parent company of two successful online radio stations—Radio Free Daytona and X Rock Radio. A pioneer in digital broadcasting, Tim launched Radio Free Daytona on March 14, 2004, in Daytona Beach, Florida, positioning it as one of the first dedicated online-only radio stations in the region.
When asked what inspired him to enter the world of online radio, Tim’s answer has always been straightforward: a vision to be ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry—and a desire to offer listeners something better than what traditional radio had become.
Before transitioning fully into broadcasting, Tim dedicated much of his life to public service. He built a respected career as a Firefighter and EMT, ultimately retiring as an Assistant Fire Chief. His leadership, discipline, and commitment to serving others continue to shape the high standards and professionalism seen across his radio operations today.
Now fully focused on broadcasting, Tim oversees both stations while hosting his flagship morning program, bringing energy, authenticity, and experience to the airwaves. He holds two college degrees and is also an accomplished writer, having published two books.
Outside of radio, Tim values simplicity—enjoying quiet time, a good glass of wine, and meaningful conversation. Known for his sharp wit and intelligent sense of humor, his personality resonates both on and off the air.
